My curiosity to know about the beauty, culture and landscape of Thimi led me to work on this project. During my research i came to know that art existed from ancient times in Thimi had its impact in the daily life, economy and culture of the people there. People are replacing high buildings in the field where vegetables are grown and clay is taken for pottery. People are changing their culture accepting new culture and technology. The dense Newari community is being replaced by other communities. The beauty of the city is vanishing day by day as the caretaker of city are moving elsewhere.
