Collabrative art work with above 40 years old and below 15 years old people from Thimi City,Bhaktapur, Nepal.

My curiosity to know about the beauty, culture and landscape of Thimi led me to work on this project. During my research i came to know that art existed from ancient times in Thimi had its impact in the daily life, economy and culture of the people there. People are replacing high buildings in the field where vegetables are grown and clay is taken for pottery. People are changing their culture accepting new culture and technology. The dense Newari community is being replaced by other communities. The beauty of the city is vanishing day by day as the caretaker of city are moving elsewhere.

During my conversation with different aged people about Thimi I realized that though they have skill they do not want to continue their own occupation due to economic factors and their need for higher education. I conducted a workshop with old and young people so that they could draw their feelings for Thimi. The change of Thimi is not only about itself but it is happening all over the surroundings. In my work i have captured the view of Thimi by its residents and reproduced it in my style.
